Soaring Eagles has looked after Alief families on S. Dairy Ashford for years. Under new ownership, we're keeping what worked, fixing what didn't, and holding ourselves to a standard we're willing to publish.
A note from our owner
Why I bought this school
I have spent my working life around young children, and the thing that never stops moving me is how fast it all happens. A baby who couldn't hold her own head up in September is walking by spring. A boy who wouldn't speak in his first week is running the block corner by Christmas. You get to watch a person arrive.
When the chance came to take over Soaring Eagles, I took it because I wanted a school run the way I always believed one should be — small groups, teachers who are supported rather than stretched, real food cooked in our own kitchen, and hours that respect the fact that parents in this part of Houston work early, late and on Saturdays.
I am here most days. If something is wrong, I would rather you tell me directly than tell someone else. And if something is right, I would like to hear that too — the teachers deserve it.
Come and see us. Walk in unannounced if you like; you are allowed to, and I would rather you saw us on an ordinary day.

Four things we won't compromise on
Curiosity over compliance
We would rather a four-year-old ask why the ice melted than sit quietly through a worksheet. The questions are the whole point.
Every family, welcomed
Alief speaks more than ninety languages. Your family's food, holidays and language belong here — not as a theme week, as a normal Tuesday.
Say it plainly
If we can't publish it, we shouldn't claim it. Our standards, our ratios and our license are all out in the open where you can check them.
What changed, and what didn't
Same building. Higher standard.
New ownership is only worth anything if it shows up in the day-to-day. Here is what is different now.
- Longer hours. Open 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, six days a week, including Saturdays.
- Five meals a day, cooked here. Not catered, not frozen, not shipped in.
- Published standards. Our ratios, our screening and our inspection record are on this website, in public, where you can hold us to them.
- A door that's genuinely open. Walk in any time we're open. No appointment, no notice, no permission.
- Same address, same neighborhood. 3844 S. Dairy Ashford, right where we have always been.
Our community
We serve one of the most diverse corners of America.
Alief ISD educates children who speak more than ninety languages between them, and around four in ten of our neighbours in 77082 were born in another country. That is not a footnote about who lives here. It is the reason this school looks the way it does.

Every director in a licensed Texas center completes 30 clock hours of continuing education a year, and every caregiver completes 24 — on top of pediatric CPR, First Aid and orientation training. That is the state floor, not our ceiling.
