Leaving a six-week-old is the hardest thing you'll do this year.
We know that. So we over-communicate, we keep the group tiny, and we let your baby set the pace — feeding when hungry, sleeping when tired, playing when awake. Nothing about an infant room should feel institutional.
Texas allows four infants per caregiver under twelve months, and we hold that line. Every bottle, nap, diaper change, and milestone is written down and goes home with you, so you never have to ask how the day went — you'll already know.

Daily written log
Every feeding, nap, diaper, and mood — recorded through the day and handed to you at pickup. No guessing.
Four to one
Never more than four babies under twelve months per teacher. Small enough that someone always has a free set of arms.
Tummy time & floor play
Supervised tummy time daily, mirrors, textures, soft climbers, and lots of narrated conversation — language starts long before first words.
Songs, books, and faces
Reading and singing to infants isn't decorative; it's how the brain wires for language. We do it constantly.
Safe sleep, always
Babies sleep on their backs, alone, in an approved crib, with nothing else in it. No exceptions, no matter how a baby usually sleeps at home.

Greeting, hand-off, and your notes from home go into the daily log.
Bottles on demand, tummy time, floor play, songs and books, first nap.
Lunch for older infants, diaper changes, outdoor stroller time weather permitting.
Second nap, sensory play, one-to-one time with a teacher, more bottles.
Dinner for infants on solids, quiet play, and your daily log at pickup.
Packing list
What to bring
- Enough bottles for the day, labeled with name and date
- Formula or prepared breast milk (we store and warm it properly)
- Diapers and wipes
- Two full changes of clothes
- Pacifier, if your baby uses one
- A fitted crib sheet
- Any medication with a signed authorization form
Meals and snacks are included — you never pack food. Label everything with your child's name; we'll send home anything that needs washing.
Infants questions
Things parents ask us
Can I come nurse or visit during the day?
Yes — any time. Texas law gives you the right to enter and observe whenever we're open, and we keep a quiet corner available for nursing mothers.
What if my baby isn't on a schedule yet?
Most six-week-olds aren't, and that's fine. We follow cues, log everything, and a rhythm usually emerges on its own around three to four months.
How do you handle breast milk?
Bring it labeled with your child's name and the date. We refrigerate or freeze it, warm it in water (never a microwave), and discard anything left over per state standards.
When does my baby move to the toddler room?
Around eighteen months, but readiness matters more than the birthday — walking confidently, eating table food, and handling a group routine. We'll talk it through with you before anything changes.
