Before & After School
Somewhere to be before the bell and after it — two blocks from three Alief campuses.

The school day ends at three. Your day doesn't.
That gap is the single hardest logistics problem for working parents in this neighborhood — and the reason a lot of families end up patching together rides and hoping. We close the gap on both ends, five days a week.
Mornings start at 6:00 with breakfast and a calm room. Afternoons bring homework help at a real table, a hot snack, outdoor time, clubs and games — and a place to decompress after seven hours of sitting still. School closures, teacher work days, and holidays are covered too.

A quiet space, a real table, and an adult who will actually sit with them. Most kids walk out the door with it finished.
Hot afternoon snack
Not a granola bar. A real snack at 3 PM, plus dinner at 5:30 if they're here for it.
Move first, then work
Gym or outdoor time before homework. Nobody concentrates after sitting all day — not even adults.
The STEM lab
Computer stations, building and logic games, and a library wall — ours to use after school. Plus board games, art and free choice. Time that belongs to them, not another lesson.
School holidays covered
Teacher work days, early releases, and school breaks — full-day care available so you're not burning PTO on the district calendar.

Meals and snacks are included — you never pack food. Label everything with your child's name; we'll send home anything that needs washing.

Things parents ask us
Do you provide transportation to school?
Ask us — what we can offer changes from year to year, and we would rather tell you exactly where things stand this term than promise something on a website. Heflin, Outley and Budewig are all within about a mile of us, so many families walk or drive it easily.
What happens on a school holiday or bad-weather day?
We're open full days for Alief and HISD holidays, teacher work days, and early releases. If the district closes for weather, we'll post our status — we usually stay open when it's safe to.
Is homework help actually supervised?
Yes. A quiet space and an adult who checks work, not just a room where kids are told to do it. We can't teach the curriculum for them, but we'll keep them on task and flag anything they're stuck on.
Can my child come only in the afternoons?
Yes. Before-only, after-only, and both are all available, and they're priced differently. Ask us for the current rate sheet.
